The impressive entrance with its six-metre-high lobby opens onto the harbour plaza and offers lines of vision along and across the river. Its active shape, the refined design of the facades, the spacious ceiling heights, and the floor-to-ceiling glazing all combine to suffuse the interior with natural light from all directions. WAYV is the new landmark of the harbour peninsula and yet remains harmoniously integrated into its urban setting.
The MEIXNER SCHLÜTER WENDT architectural practice was founded in 1997 by its partners Claudia Meixner, Florian Schlüter and Martin Wendt in Frankfurt/Main. The studio offers a wide range of services, from conceptualizing to planning and realization of projects of different sizes and typologies, including urban structures, outdoor spaces, housing, hotels, office and administration buildings, commercial, education and cultural buildings, churches, exhibitions and spatial installations. MEIXNER SCHLÜTER WENDT’s designs have won numerous national and international awards and have been showcased in countless exhibitions.

The attractively laid-out WAYV forecourt references the design of the harbour steps and the plaza and continues them harmoniously. At the same time, it forms an inviting transition into the new office world inside.
Extensive glass, height and transparency together foster lightness and a fluid transition between inside and outside. The six-metre-high lobby functions as a passageway into the new work world in WAYV. The sculptural space also features an elegant reception desk and areas for meeting and greeting.
WAYV’s bright, open hospitality zones are ideal for lunching or informal meetings at the waterside. On the greened patio on the banks of the Main River, you can take a welcome break from work or sip an evening drink while watching the river flow by.
The 17th storey is the highest office floor and opens out onto an exclusive rooftop terrace that affords a stunning view of the harbour, the ECB and Frankfurt’s famed skyline. The wraparound glazing provides shelter from the wind while preserving that open-air feeling – the perfect place for an event to become a true happening.
WAYV is flanked by the carefully laid-out forecourt with its trees and outdoor areas boasting plants and ample seating. Four lifts lead from the inviting foyer up to modern office suites and the roof terrace on the uppermost floor.
